Levi. . .(neo's bf)
"I would like to have a regular life too...
That's not too much to ask, is it?
Maybe I will pick up piano once more..."

Levi is a nervous loner who seems reluctant to grow close to others. Once the train arrives, he immediately flees into the city, and will initially retreat from the player when approached.
Throughout the festival, Levi suffers from both paranoia and the effects of heroin withdrawal. At first, he believes the other contestants are hunting for him, causing him to withdraw from them whenever possible.
He was raised by an alcoholic father, with whom his mother was in an abusive relationship. This difficult situation likely persisted for a long time, as Levi didn’t have many fond memories of his father.
One night, after a heated argument between his parents, Levi's mother rushed into his room, shut the door, and held it closed with all her strength, which did little to protect her from the drunkard’s wrath. At this point, Levi had two choices: stand up to his father or pray to a God, making a pact that would bind him for the rest of his life. In both instances his mother would die by his father’s hands, and the man would continue to waste away, unable to care for the young boy.
After being taken away from his father, Levi was sent to St. Domek's Orphanage. However, his life barely improved, as the staff was highly abusive toward the children. Additionally, rumors of orphans disappearing without a trace began to circulate.
His time at the orphanage was cut short when the Eastern Union began conscripting every able-bodied person to fight for the motherland, including young children. At just 13 years old, Levi became a soldier and was given the option to specialize in handguns, rifles, or trench guns.
Levi became an exceptionally capable soldier for his age. As the war dragged on, though, he witnessed many young children being drafted and dying as cannon fodder, which left him with a very bitter attitude and nihilistic view of the world.
As time went on, he was eventually given command of his own squadron of child soldiers and assigned what amounted to a suicide mission with little chance of success, as the upper echelons of the military considered their soldiers expendable.
Whether Levi fulfilled the mission or refused to, it took a toll on his already diminishing psyche. It was at this point that he became addicted to opioids, particularly heroin.
Eventually, he could no longer bear the trauma and stress, and made the decision to desert before the Eastern Union could punish or court-martial him. With nowhere else to go, he returned to the only place he had ever called home: Prehevil.
